Jason Patterson
Treasure Beach Hotel is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Jason Patterson as their New General Manager of the four-star boutique hotel.
Mr. Patterson was formerly General Manager of Pink Beach Club in Bermuda and he brings a wealth of experience managing high-end hotels across the region. With particular proficiency in leading a successful team and increasing hotel brand awareness, Jason is renowned for his unwavering commitment to his guests by constantly seeking ways to enhance their holiday experience.
Prior to his time at Pink Beach Club, Jason held senior positions at Cambridge Beaches Resort, Bermuda, Millennium Hotel Abu Dhabi and the Four Seasons Maldives.
He commented, "I have experienced a very warm welcome from the staff and people of Barbados. I am thrilled to be joining Treasure Beach and look forward to working with the team to enhance the hotel's excellent reputation".
Treasure Beach Hotel is home to thirty-five luxurious guestrooms, each individually designed with three deluxe suites complete with private plunge pools and panoramic views across the Caribbean Sea. Forming a crescent around the hotel's freshwater pool and tropical gardens, the suites are spacious, stylish and provide the top-end luxury that is synonymous with Barbados West Coast. Mr. Kevin Morley, Owner, Professor commented, "We are certain that with his vast experience and passion for providing excellent customer service, Jason will continue to develop Treasure Beach's name as a leading luxury hotel in Barbados."
Enid Lashley
Having worked with the first owners and developers of Treasure Beach hotel Enid took on the role as the head maid to the then new Treasure Beach Hotel in 1977. Enid never imagined she would stay in Barbados for ever and left in the early eighties to pursue a career in Canada. Not long after her departure Mrs. Ward persuaded her that the hotel needed her back so she returned to Treasure Beach and hasn’t looked back since. Today Enid Lashley is the Head of the entire Housekeeping department. Lashley demands quality from her entire team and that is reflected by the cleanliness of the property and efficiency of her staff.
Debbie Odderson
Debbie Odderson, who looks after our reservations, joined Treasure Beach as a receptionist 16 years ago. Debbie’s personable nature and organized work ethic makes her the ideal person to handle all inquires, reservations, or requests which are channelled through her desk. Debbie has formed lasting relationships with many Travel Agents, Tour Operators and repeat clientele who trust her to make their dream vacation a reality. Whether it is a wedding, honeymoon, anniversary or special request Debbie makes it simple and easy for our clients.
Kirk Kirton - Head Chef
Treasure Beach is delighted to announce the appointment of Kirk Kirton as Head Chef. Kirk takes the helm at the hotel’s award-winning Kathy's Restaurant in time for the winter season and promises a mouth-watering menu for guests and visitors alike.
A culinary star in Barbados, Kirk combines a Mediterranean style with the use of fresh, local ingredients and has already created a range of wonderful recipes to tempt the most refined taste-buds. Signature dishes include a delicious ‘Half Local Baby Chicken, roasted and served on Sweet Potato Puree with Piperade and Herb Butter’ and a mouth-watering ‘Cream Cheese Bavarian with Local Guava and Cinnamon Cookie’.
Kirk brings 14 years' experience to the position at Treasure Beach including the Head Chef post at west coast favourites such as The Lone Star and Olives Bistro. A period in the UK followed where Kirk headed up the kitchen at The Inn on the Green in Cookham Dean, The Globe in Cowes and Incognico in the heart of London’s theatre district. On return to Barbados, Kirk was employed by Master chef Hans Schweitzer at the fine dining restaurant La Mer in Port St Charles before becoming Executive Chef at Royal Westmoreland. A Barbadian national, Kirk studied and graduated from the Florida Culinary Institute.
Treasure Beach’s Kathy's Restaurant is well established on the island but the appointment of Kirk and his culinary expertise is sure to secure its position as one of the island’s finest dining experiences for hotel guests and visitors alike.
