Zagat Barbados Survey
Zagat introduced their 2007 Best of Barbados Survey, the first for the Caribbean region. In their introduction they
state “Barbados’ idyllic, palm-fringed shores and world-class links have long attracted tourists in search of R & R,
but Zagat’s inaugural Survey for the island certifies that yet another ‘R’ – restaurants – is now a draw in its own
right. This comes as no surprise to locals who enjoy their seafood-rich cuisine with equal élan at roadside stands,
in luxurious resorts and chattel houses”.
And what do they say about Al Fresco at Treasure Beach………
“Very good service” from “welcoming” staff pleases guests at this pool-side boutique hotel restaurant a five minute
drive south of Holetown, and diners are also impressed by the “delicious” European fare [with an emphasis on
seafood] praising its “consistent quality” and “wonderful blend of flavours” built around “local ingredients”.
