TREASURE BEACH BARBADOS
OFFERS TRAVELERS PEACE OF MIND WITH A
"HURRICANE GUARANTEE"
Barbados is seldom hit by a hurricane. In fact, the island has not been hit by a hurricane since 1955 and that was not even a direct hit. However, visitors planning a trip to Treasure Beach Barbados can do so with greater peace of mind due to the first-ever Hurricane Guarantee program offered by the hotel. While the law of averages dictates that Barbados will most likely not be hit by a hurricane in 2010, Treasure Beach takes the worry out of booking and provides guests with
complete confidence that their vacation dreams will not be ruined, should the unlikely occur.
The Hurricane Guarantee programme was therefore created to protect guests during a possible hit while guests are registered at the hotel.
The programme is as follows:
The Treasure Beach Hurricane Guarantee policy will take effect as soon as the US National Weather Service announces the formulation of a hurricane in the area. If the hurricane interrupts the use of all included services, Treasure Beach will offer a replacement vacation. This offer will be for the same duration as the original booking, regardless of the number of days which were affected by the hurricane. The category of rooms booked would be the same as booked in the original booking and will be subject to space availability. The offer is valid for one year. Other expenses including, but not limited to, airfare, F&B, incidental room charges are not included or covered by this guarantee.

FAR MORE THAN A DAY TO REMEMBER AT THE ALL NEW TREASURE BEACH HOTEL, BARBADOS
For couples seeking a blissful retreat, Treasure Beach Hotel in Barbados is the wedding venue of choice. Set on the glamorous west coast of Barbados, the hotel has recently transformed in to a chic and stylish haven following a complete make-over.
Treasure Beach offers a stunning location and quiet, intimate charm, making it the most romantic of venues to exchange vows. Located on one of the island’s best white sand beaches, the boutique hotel is set in lush, tropical gardens. Its suites form a horseshoe shape around the fresh water pool and are cool and contemporary in design.
Caribbean interior designer, Simone St Rose, has retained the hotel’s much loved charm creating a genuine style that mixes the contemporary with the tradition and culture of Barbados and the Caribbean as a whole. Specially designed mosaics feature throughout and the artwork and sculptures have been hand selected from Guayana. Colour schemes feature a combination of cool, creamy whites, rich textures and brightly coloured furnishings which stand out against the neutral background of the coral stone walls, reflecting the life and soul of the Caribbean. Floors are hardwood timber and lighting is simple but sophisticated to create an intimate and elegant ambience.
Each of the 35 suites is finished to the highest specification. All rooms feature air conditioning and ceiling fan, a living area with plasma screen TV and high speed WiFi internet access as well as coffee and tea making facilities and a mini bar for comfort. Patios with outdoor furniture and sun loungers offer guests time to relax in private.
Stylish new bathrooms have contemporary fittings, twin sinks, separate shower and bath and smart new flooring using light ceramic tiles. Treasure Beach has partnered with Temple Spa for bathroom treats – an indulgent lifestyle, spa-based skin and body care range for men and women.
The hotel’s three new deluxe suites – the Hemingway Suite, Hibiscus Suite and Hummingbird Suite – offer spacious accommodation and are cool and contemporary in design. All are beautifully furnished with four poster beds and decorated with hand selected works of art. Perfect for romance, all suites boast stunning views over the white sand beach and turquoise sea and offer the ultimate in privacy, space and comfort. All feature a private terrace with a plunge pool and are located right on the edge of the beach.
Delicious offerings from the kitchen make the award-winning ‘Al Fresco’ Restaurant a must where newly weds can dine under the stars and enjoy a variety of culinary experiences all using fresh local ingredients prepared to an excellent standard.
Couples can choose to host their ceremony in the picturesque gardens or on the stunning white sands of Paynes Bay.
