Island weddings have their own little rituals, so Treasure Beach has a full time Wedding Coordinator, Debbie Odderson, who goes out of her way to make the event totally unique and memorable.

WEDDING DETAILS FOR BARBADOS
1. Prior to applying for their Marriage License the couple must make arrangements for an officiating Minister and obtain a letter from him to take to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
2. With this letter, along with the other documents as outlined below, they apply to the Ministry of Home Affairs, 5th Floor, General Post Office Building, Cheapside, Bridgetown, St Michael
3. Documents required are:
PASSPORT
BIRTH CERTIFICATE (IF NO PASSPORT – DRIVER’S LICENSE/ID CARD)
If applicable:
MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE
DIVORCE CERTIFICATE
DEATH CERTIFICATE
AFFIDAVIT
4. Once the application for the Marriage License has been made the couple may be married immediately
5. All arrangements for the wedding may be made at the hotel
6. The Marriage Certificate is obtained from the Courts in Bridgetown. This certificate is not always ready prior to the couple’s departure. In cases like this, the hotel will forward the certificate to the couple
